Assessing the Operational Groups of the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI)

The European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI) aims to enhance competitiveness and sustainability of agriculture and forestry sector by bringing together various actors (farmers, advisors, researchers, businesses, NGOs, etc.) in so-called Operational Groups (OGs). The aim is to build bridges between research and practice, and to stimulate actors to work together on innovative and practical solutions for specific relevant issues or needs.

Currently, over 400 Operational Groups projects have been selected and are being or have been funded (against a foreseen 3200), with huge variation over the RDPs in procedure of the calls and content of the OG projects. IDEA Consult was commissioned to assess the state-of-play of the setting-up and implementation of the OGs.
