A creative restaurant and catering concept for Ghent's Stadshal

Between the great towers of Ghent's belfry and St Nicholas church, an indoor market is rising from the scaffolding. The restaurant and catering area needed creative input to fit in with this strategic location in the heart of the city, this new landmark by the Robbrecht & Daem architects. IDEA Consult offered the City of Ghent some inspired ideas in placing and assessing tenders for the implementation of the planned restaurant and catering area. The aim was to spur the candidate managers to provide creative and innovative content for the indoor market that is also relevant to tourists.
