IDEA Consult designs a new interregional funding mechanism for innovation deployment on behalf of the Vanguard Initiative, to complement the financing of innovation at regional and European levels.

Monitoring the performance of EU industry and industrial ecosystems

To support the implementation of the EC’s 2020 New Industrial Strategy, IDEA Consult will implement a monitoring framework and provide analytical and operational support to the Industrial Forum EC expert group.

Funding tool for Bio-Based Industries Consortium

IDEA Consult developed a unique funding tool for advanced bio-based projects, comprising regional, national and European funding for more than 30 regions.

IDEA Consult explores the economic potential of biomass from landscape management

In recent years, several (rural) projects have experimented with the local use of biomass from nature and landscape management. They showed the possibilities of valorising the woody and grassy residual flows from this management as raw material for material, energy or soil enrichment. IDEA Consult analysed these projects in order to investigate the economic added value and feasibility of using biomass in the long term.

Master plans for future-oriented research and education campuses

Today, the education and research landscape is in a state of flux. Sufficient and high-quality infrastructure is a necessary condition for education, research and innovation to flourish. In the past year, IDEA Consult has supported three educational institutions and cities in various real estate issues to translate their spatial needs.

Building the digital school: from ICT coordinator to ICT team

Today, ICT coordinators are the digital 'jack-of-all-trades' in schools. All too often, however, they are completely on their own. To tackle this problem, IDEA Consult developed a task overview and guidelines for more team-oriented ICT coordination at school.
