David Nassen

David Nassen has been working at IDEA Consult since 2021. He is active in projects concerning vision, strategy or organisation development and in the field of guidance for implementation.

For more than 10 years, David was the director of ISB vzw, a membership organisation and knowledge centre for local sports and recreation policy in Flanders and Brussels. He was involved in projects with local and other authorities, civil society organisations and private actors. From a broad view on sports policy, he built up insight into various policy areas. He applies this experience and expertise to projects and issues where transversal policy and an integrated view on various policy themes are central.

David is fascinated by the organisational development of intermediary networks, member organisations and partnerships. He has supported numerous professionals in these settings and built up practical knowledge in both the socio-cultural and socio-economic sectors, in leisure, care or charities. He applies specific models of association management and insights into collaborative networks to assignments where the power of collaboration and shared ambitions are aimed at achieving broad social impact.

David holds a Master's degree in Physical Education - Sports Management and has completed additional studies in Business Economics (KU Leuven). This is the basis for a unique mix of supporting people, an eye for social impact and a business view.

As a facilitator, David and the multidisciplinary team of the IDEA Group make connections between people, organisations, specific expertise and policy domains.
