Clemens de Olde
Clemens de Olde is consultant regional and urban development and is part of the team Real Estate and Territorial Development. His expertise lies in the field of sociological and policy aspects of spatial planning, urban development and living together in cities.
Clemens attained masters degrees in sociology and philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. During his education he worked for various Amsterdam-based architecture offices where he became interested in urban and spatial issues. Between 2009-2012 he taught sociology at the University of Amsterdam and from 2013 he was academic assistant urban sociology at the University of Antwerp. At the moment he is finishing his PhD research into urbanization policy in Flanders.
He publishes regularly on urban and spatial topics in scientific and professional journals and he is also an editor of AGORA: Magazine for social-spatial issues.
